The 5th Journey of the MODI SOLAR Project: “Igniting Hope, Starting from 1%” to Khun Huai Tak Phatthana Sueksa School, Tak Province. MODI SOLAR, a specialist brand in solar lighting, continues its corporate social responsibility mission under the “Igniting Hope, Starting from 1%” project by visiting and providing support to Khun Huai Tak Phatthana Sueksa School, Ban Tak District, Tak Province.

In this activity, the MODI SOLAR team traveled to install solar lighting systems in key areas across the school. The team also donated new pairs of shoes and toys to the students to enhance their safety after sunset, while bringing smiles and encouragement to children living in remote areas.

Over 6 Hours of Travel to Deliver Light

This mission commenced at 04:00 AM on August 5, 2026, departing from the distribution center in Pathum Thani Province. The MODI SOLAR team set out equipped with solar lighting equipment as well as donations prepared for the students.

The route to the school was steep and winding through mountain ranges. The team traveled through darkness and morning fog for more than six hours before arriving at the school, which is nestled in nature amidst the mountains. Upon arrival, the children and school staff welcomed the team with warm smiles, creating an impression that made this journey truly meaningful.

Because “Light” Means More Than Just Brightness

For schools located in remote areas, having adequate lighting is not just about visibility at night; it is directly tied to safety, learning, and the students' quality of life.

After sunset, activity grounds, walkways, and areas surrounding school buildings and student dormitories often lack sufficient light, hindering night-time travel and evening activities. MODI SOLAR therefore partnered with the school to install solar-powered lamps in crucial locations around the campus and surrounding community areas.

Beyond installing lighting systems, MODI SOLAR delivered new pairs of shoes and toys to the students to spread happiness, create smiles, and offer meaningful encouragement to the children.

“Igniting Hope, Starting from 1%” is an initiative driven by MODI SOLAR's commitment to sharing the value of solar energy with society, focusing on supporting schools, communities, and areas still lacking adequate lighting.

To date, MODI SOLAR has organized activities to deliver light to regions across all parts of Thailand, and continues to seek opportunities to extend help to underserved communities. We believe that great change can begin with a small contribution of just 1%, and a single light can mark the beginning of greater safety, hope, and opportunities for many lives.
